Character's Name: Cindi Torres.
Mutant Nickname: Cinders.
Mutant Power: A pyrokinetic, able to generate and manipulate flames.
Occupation: Member of the mutant mafia.
Gender: Female.
Age: Twenty-five.
Height: 5' 3".
Hair Color: Black.
Eye Color: Black.
Physical Description: A compact, muscular Hispanic woman, with rather hard facial features and a knife scar on her left cheek. Her hair is a bit longer than shoulder-length, and she usually wears it in a short braid or pinned up. She speaks with a slight accent.
Country/Hometown: Near Brownsville, Texas.
Immediate Family: She is estranged from her parents and several siblings, who still reside in Texas.
Personality: Hardened by her upbringing, Cindi is tough as nails. She's a ruthless fighter, with a hot temper and a deep resentment of ordinary humans. She views herself as a loyal soldier of the mutant mafia, and has no compunctions about hurting or killing people.
Weaknesses: Cindi is highly attracted to Nick Tiernan, and is frustrated that he has no romantic interest in her. She sometimes does things impulsively in an effort to gain his attention.
Additional Skills: She's an experienced knife fighter, and a good shot with a gun.
Hobbies/Interests: Cindi has frequent flings with the opposite sex, and isn't very picky about her partners. To some degree, she often has a misguided hope of arousing Nocturne's jealousy with these dalliances, but he is not likely to notice or care.
Personal History: Born into a large, poor immigrant family, Cindi was a juvenile delinquent even before she was a mutant. Her youth was filled with fights, petty thefts, and relationships with older boys who were even more trouble than she was. It was during a fight over one such young man, at age sixteen, that another girl slashed her cheek with a knife. As Cindi fought back in a rage, her mutation manifested, and she severely burned the other girl.
Expelled from school, ostracized by other teens, and feared even by her family, Cindi began to drift. She eventually made her way to New York, where she naturally gravitated to the mutant underworld and Nocturne's gang.
