Character's Name: Antonio "Tony" Comancini
Occupation: Head of the Comancini crime family.
Gender: Male.
Age: Forty-three.
Height: 6' 1".
Hair Color: Black.
Eye Color: Dark brown.
Physical Description: Tony is a man of slick, rather sinister good looks. He is olive-skinned and solidly built, with thick, glossy hair and a thin mustache. He wears large gold rings on both hands, and is always dressed in expensive designer clothes.
Country/Hometown: New York City, USA.
Immediate Family: Cousin-by-marriage Sidney Rosenstein. Second cousins Tara, Holly, and Caleb (Sid's children).
Personality: Arrogant, vain, and quick-tempered, Tony is capable of being truly nasty. Even as he feigns sophistication and style, he rules his mob with the brute force of a common thug. He is ambitious and greedy, always looking for an "angle" in every situation. He has a perverted sense of family loyalty that compels him to be dominating, expecting anyone he considers "family" to live up to his expectations--and he is resentful when they do not. He is racist and strongly anti-mutant.
Weaknesses: Tony is not especially intelligent; he expects to get what he wants by muscle rather than brains. His hot temper can be a liability, especially when exacerbated by the severe migraine headaches he sometimes suffers.
Additional Skills: Tony is formidable with all kinds of weapons, whether it be guns, knives, or his own fists. He is a master of the art of intimidation.
Hobbies/Interests: He comes equipped with the standard vices of a thug; he drinks, gambles, courts a veritable stable of female companions, and indulges an appetite for all things expensive and flashy.
Personal History: Tony was literally raised in the mob. His uncle Enzio was head of the Comancini crime family, and his father Enrico was second only to Enzio in power. Tony enjoyed a privileged youth; but when he was eighteen, Enrico was killed in a mob turf war. Enzio, who had no sons, took his nephew as his own heir--but Tony did not take to heart the lessons of his highly intelligent uncle. Unable to learn Enzio's criminal finesse, he settled for using force to dominate his subordinates and get what he wanted. After Enzio died, he took over of the Comancini family, and has since controlled it with an iron grip.
Tony had a childhood crush on his cousin Caroline, and was disgusted when she married Sidney Rosenstein. While his uncle was alive, Tony was restrained from muscling in on Sid's Paragon Club, in which he has always been interested--but with Enzio and Caroline both dead, he feels more free to do as he chooses. His only real reason not to come down hard on Sid is his family loyalty toward Sid and Caroline's children. As it is, he has come lurking around the club more often and sometimes weaseling favors, such as the use of a back room for a covert meeting.
