Physical Description: Short, scrawny, and wiry, he resembles a rodent. His teeth--nearly double the number possessed by an ordinary person--are small and sharp. He is prone to nervous twitches. He speaks with a rough accent that is Cockney, or at least close to it.

Immediate Family: None known.
Personality: George is intensely alert, suspicious, and furtive. He can be extremely vicious when menacing someone weaker than him (or when backed up by a stronger thug), but at heart he is cowardly and prefers to work in unseen, underhanded ways. He is devious and has strong instincts for his own benefit, but he is not particularly bright.
Weaknesses: He is not physically strong, and his lungs are in poor condition. His eyes are not nearly as keen as his nose and ears. He can be intimidated fairly easily. He is often drunk.

He eventually fell in with Nick Tiernan, and willingly attached himself to the younger but much more intelligent and ambitious criminal. His loyalty was rewarded, and when Tiernan moved to America, he took George with him to serve as his personal spy.
